Hema Sood, Author of the book “The Oceanic Geeta”

Can you tell us something about yourself?
I am a certified Reiki Grandmaster (2001). I use Reiki symbols in my meditative writing to imbibe mystical cosmic knowledge. Over the past decades, I have honed my psychic skills to attune to higher realms. I practice channeling and offer comprehensive guidance along with a reading of the Akashic Records and Runes.

I am an Akashic Records Reader and Trainer and empower people in learning to read their Akashic Records through workshops. I am a US certified Ho’oponopono Practitioner — and I elucidate the unique benefits of this ancient Hawaiian ritual of Forgiveness. I efficaciously practice money Reiki, Crystalline Grids, Runology, and Chaldean Numerology to manifest success and abundance.

I practice meditation, yoga, and pranayama daily and enjoy walking amongst Mother Nature to receive inspirational insights.

How is your book different than others?
Every author has a unique writing style that is quite inimitable. The uniqueness of this book — The Oceanic Geeta is it is exclusively inspired by the ebb and flow of the waves of the ocean, which impart the esoteric wisdom of the Bhagavad Geeta. It is perhaps the only book in the world that is completely based on the ocean’s revelations and articulately narrated in this comparative style.

Where do you get your information or ideas for your books?
The ideas for this book commenced after an early morning walk on the beach, wherein I received profound insights from the waves of the ocean. Subsequently, I made various trips to the beach that further revealed esoteric knowledge.

I sit in meditation and attune myself to higher realms to imbibe higher knowledge. I also use Reiki symbols for my writing. I have written the Karmic City trilogy and Karmic Cords in this method. My next book — Crown of Tijara commenced after my visit to the Tijara Fort Palace. The extraordinary idea entered my thought-flow about three weeks after my initial visit.

What was one of the most surprising things you learned in creating your book?
I enjoyed receiving articulate terminologies flashing into my mind as I wrote this book. I would always check up its meaning in the dictionary. Surprisingly it was perfectly suited, and perchance I would not have thought of this word. This overwhelmed me with indescribable joy at being empowered by the universal energies.

What is your work schedule like when you’re writing?
I spend about 4–5 hours daily writing or editing my manuscripts. I spend an hour or more, in Meditation and practicing other modalities like –Reiki, Automatic Writing, Numerology, Runology, or in teaching workshops. However, I have familial responsibilities that always take priority over my writing and workshops.

What do you think makes a good story?
Every reader seeks to read books that they can enjoy and personally connect with. Thus, different genres appeal to diverse people, and it’s difficult to specify. Whatever touches your heart and deeply affects your soul — will always be deemed as a good story.

What is your writing process like?
It is a highly empowering process of receiving ideas from the higher realms and universal energies. Earlier I used to choose a blank page; but now, I sit in front of my laptop and wait for the ideas to flow, and I begin writing. It is an extremely creative and exhilarating process of being telepathically inspired!

What advice do you have for writers?
It is essential for you to enjoy writing and more importantly to read daily/regularly. Pursue writing for the sheer joy of expressing your creativity through language. I suggest that you should not be motivated by fame and money. If you do, it will reflect in your writing.

Always write from your heart!

How did this story occur to you?
It commenced unexpectedly when I went for an early morning stroll on the beach. I intuited a startling comparison between the waves of the ocean and the Bhagavad Geeta. Subsequently, I made dozens of trips to the ocean, seeking inspiration for the book. I spent hours gazing at the waves and imbibing their mystical wisdom. It is easy to lose oneself while gazing at the idyllic depths of the ocean; cogitating upon slow, steady thoughts, from which wisdom dawns. My contemplation are suffused with discerning beliefs that I have aspired to transcribe for posterity.

What is the book all about?
The turning point in my life transpired when I took an early walk on the beach. Unexpectedly my thoughts began associating facets of the ocean’s waves with relevant slokas from the Bhagavad Geeta. That momentous episode on the beach transformed my life in perpetuity. Till that moment, my study of the Bhagavad Geeta entailed oral examples. By observing the ocean, I could now effectively comprehend the wisdom of the Bhagavad Geeta through a series of comparisons. These insights enhanced my comprehension of the Bhagavad Geeta.

This book inspires you to draw parallels and enjoyable educative comparisons from the magnificent ocean. You can also self-intuit by observing any of the five elements or wondrous aspects of Mother Nature.
